Our first class field trip was to Tangle-Wood Nature Preserve. Here, our professor had us go on a scavenger hunt to explore and focus on different parts of nature that we normally wouldn't pay attention to. My group started off inside capturing images of various animals that were held in cages. After viewing the indoor sights, we ventured outdoors to the nature trail. The ground was very muddy, but that didn't stop our determination to find all of the tasks on the list provided by our professor. My group made it over the first extremely muddy section of the trail to get to a semi dry portion, but as the trail went on, the path got even more wet. Lets just say that my favorite pair of white shoes are now brown. Once we went a little further we came to a down hill section of the trail which we thought we could make it down because our determination was just so high, but our hopes of finishing the trail was officially over when one of my group members slipped in the mud. Even though I did ruin my white shoes, the adventure with my friends was well worth it.
